Valor was developed by Caithness Potato Breeders Ltd. of Perth Scotland and is under an exclusive license to Real Potatoes Ltd. for the Americas.

Many, purple in colour born on a long thick stock. Petals very pointed. |

Stout stems are erect and few in number. |
| Leaf: |
Medium sized with narrow primary leaflets, weakly waved margins. Many large pointed secondary leaf lets. Terminal leaflets are overlapped. |

Large, uniform in distribution, shallow eye depth with regular distribution, white skinned with white flesh, skin is smooth and transparent yielding a bright appearance. |
